The Neighborhood
The Merchant’s House is set in the most diverse and vibrant Walk Radius in Baltimore. Cultural, culinary, artistic, historical, educational and entertaining opportunities abound. Walk to the Convention Center, Penn Station, City Hall, Camden yards… the list goes on. Mt. Vernon/Cathedral Hill was established as THE place for well-to-do Baltimoreans to live, on high ground overlooking the inner harbor, at a time when cars were not an option. It’s still a glamorous and safe neighborhood, and you still don’t need a car. If you don’t believe us, see our guests’ testimonials.
